1.One of the major global hazard encountered with in the recent years is that of E- waste.The waste collected from electrical and electronic equipment that are no longer left with life and use is  known as E-waste and this problem is growing rapidly causing a major global problem E-waste.The E-waste usually consists of valuable materials that are of economic value when we recycle them.But,it is unfortunate that most of the e-waste is recycled in a very unregulated manner in informal sectors and this results in an increase in toxic exposures to the recyclers that include mostly children and women.The US has been reported to produce 22 billion pounds of electronics per annum.The process of mining, milling, processing, and transportation that are all used in electronics is very huge.The life span of electric devices can be somewhere around  5 years and as reported by the Electronics Take back Coalition, only 19% of the electronic waste  is recycled while the rest goes into trash.The amount  waste is massive and overall environmental implications are terrible and since we dont even recycle them,there is a tremendous waste of resources to make new ones. Since we fail to reuse the resources by recycling them, we actually demand for more consumption of more raw materials and more energy usage.As per records,Norway ranks top in position of world's electronic waste mountain,followed by Switzerland and Iceland in third position.UK ranks fifth while United States ranks nineth position.Electronic waste causes adverse effect on human and environmental damages as well.The outcomes are hazardous environmental effects and includes: 1.air pollution caused by burning of wires that release hydrocarbons into the atmosphere 2.water pollution that is caused due to toxic metals such as mercury, lead and lithium present in electronic devices that are disposed off improperly in ponds, lakes and groundwater. Communities of people that use this source of water consume it unknowingly and this causes serious health effects. 3.soil pollution that is caused when the metals enter the food chain after being absorbed by the plants from the soil causing destruction to the plants and resulting to serious  poisoning of food chain.

2.Yes, I think there was a solution for the problem .Instead of disposing off the electronic devices, we should recycle them in a proper manner.We should maintain our electronic devices properly to increase its life.We should learn effective ways to repair our electronic devices before disposing off as waste.We should be very careful as to where we dispose off the e-waste so that the environmental hazards that rise due to them is minimised.

3.I would go for an effective way to maintain electronic in the best way possible so that despite of using new ones by disposing off the old ones, we can work on old electronics for a longer time.Also,we can go for electronic s devices such as laptops etc on rent rather than buying new ones after every defective issues encountered.
