From the HR management point of view, it is easier to manage the workforce when it is non unionized. Because of following reasons.

  • Employees can avoid the fees and dues imposed by the unions, which will reduce the salary of employee at the same time it is difficult for the HR to process the salary with so much work.
  • Unions in the organization may often leads to strikes, clashes between the employee and top management. Thus HR department will not get sufficient work force.
  • Laying of employee when there is an unethical activities in the organization is easier when it is non unionized. Non unions gives freedom of removing employees.
  • Unions employees may directly involve in negotiations with the top management which avoid the interaction of HR professionals.

Due to all these reasons, for a HR management it is easier to manage the workforces when it is non unionized.
