The freamshift mutation is the genetic alteration or mutation which occurs due to the deletion or insertion in a DNA sequence that shifts the way the sequence is read. The DNA sequesnces are made of small molecule chains, these small molecules are called nucleotides or nucleotide analogs. So any change in the nucleotides will lead to frameshift mutation.
