What experiences have you had as a consumer of good
and bad OPSCM? What would some of your suggestions be for that

Operations and supply chain management failure may result in for example a production stoppage of cars in a car manufacturing unit. This may be due to failure to supply the necessary steering gears. Effective supply chain management ensures proper amount of raw materials needed to create products, optimize inventory levels to reduce costs, and synchronize supply with customer demand. Enterprises need to create and maintain an agile supply chain that can respond well to rise and dips in demand and production needs. One example of good operations and supply chain management is the seven elven store with its extensive distribution network throughout the United States and Asia catering to huge variety of customer needs 24 hours a day. They have showed excellent reach, capacity and management making it the most productive company. the most important aspect and operations and supply chain management is pooling the risk by aggregating demand across different locations so that high demand from one customer will be offset by low demand from another.
