Predominant cause of fungal sepsis is Candida fungus:

In females Candida commonly affect urino -genital passage Candidiasis:

Symptoms include:

• Pain during sexual intercourse
• Pain or discomfort when urinating
• Abnormal vaginal discharge

However Sepsis is a life threatening condition that occurs mainly in critically ill patients or ICU patients due to Candida infection mainly that affect the whole body.

In females:

Colonization of the female genital passage  by Candida is common during pregnancy, while candida sepsis in pregnancy is rare
