In breakage, we see that the process of inversion results in a gene with the sequence of 1-2-3-4.In crossing over, we see that the process of inversion results in a gene with the sequence of 1-3-2-4.
Here, we see that the gene sequence has been changed by the process of inversion in crossing over. The gene sequence is left unaltered in breakage.
