It would be possible to find a complete pod with only yellow peas or only green peas or heterozygous for the seed color gene, if all the flowers present in that pod had dominant allele in the given fruit or pod but it is highly unlikely. Thus, it can be explained, as a rare change that occurs at a physiological level.
