The mechanism of translation is very similar in both prokaryotes and eukaryotes. The main character that differentiates both the processes of translation in prokaryotes from eukaryotes is the place where transcription and translation occur in the cell. Translational mechanism takes place in the cytoplasm of the prokaryotes, but it is actually separated in eukaryotes. After widely processing, the eukaryotic mRNAs (messenger ribonucleic acid) are carried out from nucleus for translation on ribosomes that exist in cytoplasm.
Process of translation is as follows:
